This work is a centrally placed in CCI installation, the work kept drawing me back into itself. I would eradicate the black central areas, but inevitably need to go back and reinstate them. This happened on a few occasions.It was live on the day I received my diagnosis of breast cancer. I walked into the studio, looked at the work and knew that the black blobs were my cancer and that my body knew this, exposing it to me unconsciously, before my conscious mind was told.
